"The Inimitable Jeeves" by P. G. Wodehouse is the first novel in the Jeeves
series, originally composed of a collection of short stories. It was published
in 1923 in the UK and the US. The book consists of 11 previously published
stories, with the first six and the last split into two chapters. The stories
were originally published in The Strand Magazine in the UK and Cosmopolitan in
the US between 1918 and 1922. The novel revolves around Bertie's friend Bingo
Little and his romantic escapades. Each story is connected and often involves
Jeeves, Bertie's valet, helping Bingo navigate his love life. "The Inimitable
Jeeves" was later included in a collection titled "Life With Jeeves" in 1981.
